All the IT Professionals are now jumping for Cloud Computing. It is a general term for anything that involves delivering hosted services over the Internet. Cloud computing industry provides web storage services besides that of computation and data access.
The server and email management software is all on the cloud ( internet) and is totally managed by the cloud service provider. Perfect example of cloud computing is Yahoo email, Gmail, or Hotmail etc. There is no need a software or a server to use them. Consumer would need is just an internet connection and start sending emails.
Cloud computing allows consumers and businesses to use applications without installation and access their personal files at any computer with internet access. Cloud computing is a technology that uses the internet and central remote servers to maintain data and applications. This technology allows for much more inefficient computing by centralizing storage, memory, processing and bandwidth.
Recent News : China is building a world class R&D centre for cloud computing in the capital. The centre is being built in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area.
