Pacific Investment Mgmt Company PIMCO is looking for : Senior VP & Equity Marketing Specialist.
The individual will be charged with identifying sales opportunities and developing relationships with prospective clients and also work with our Account Management teams to position equity strategies with existing clients. The individual will also work closely with our Consultant Relations team to interact and position PIMCO's equity strategies with key consulting firms. The position will be based at our headquarters in Newport Beach, California and will report to the Head of the Institutional Business Group. The Institutional Equity Salesperson must build solid internal relationships and partnerships with Account Managers, Product Managers and Portfolio Managers within the firm.
Candidate must have : Eight to ten years' experience related to the sale of institutional investment management services and products is required. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of five to seven years' experience in equity sales.
Develop a marketing plan in the institutional investor space for PIMCO's equity products and strategies
• Understand prospect and client needs, both short and long term, and become familiar with decision processes and decision makers.
• Promote investment product sales through frequent meetings and discussions covering investment strategy, equity market developments and investment performance,
• Establish, build and sustain assigned prospect relationships through idea generation, which positions the firm as a capable, creative and trusted advisor.
