Senior Business Analyst : will be part of the Risk Management team reporting to the Regional Head of Professional Services. The role will be based in New York and will involve providing consulting and support on Thomson Reuters Risk Management software for North American clients. The role might require travelling within the US and might involve international travel to other countries in the region.
Important tasks will be to work on software implementation projects at customers.
JOB ROLE:
• Documenting requirements and writing specifications and Gap analysis
• System configuration and User Training
• Investigating and reproducing client issues
• Test and validate new applications and patches
Have to work closely with the project manager and others in the implementation team. Potential candidate must have a thorough knowledge of risk management, and some professional experience working in finance; either for a software vendor or a financial institution.
Skills
•Educated to Masters level in Math, Finance or related field
•Excellent financial markets knowledge in Forex, Money Market, Fixed Income, Interest and related derivatives
•Knowledge of Credit and Market Risk including but not limited to stress & scenario testing, VaR, etc.
•5 years of experience working in for a software vendor or a financial institution
•Previous customer facing experience is preferred.
