RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze, review and report on monthly trading profits and overall results.
• Arrange the consolidation and preparation of the regional financial report.
• Understand the divisional trade flows, their impact on cash management, resource usage, statutory reporting and tax planning.
• Liaise between all regions and the Americas Head Office finance department.
• Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests from the CFO.
• Oversee the preparation of annual financial statements and monthly consolidated reports.
• Analyse and verify variances from budget and prepare forecast.
• Prepare daily cash flow forecast.
• Provide solutions and support to Logistics and Trading with ad-hoc queries.
• Prepare weekly analysis of working capital.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a requirement.
• Distribution and/or Trading background would be beneficial.
• CPA preferred.
• 4-7 years experience, ideally split between public accounting and industry.
• Experience of fair value accounting as it relates to forward contracts, futures and options would be preferred.
• People skills are essential; you must be dynamic and have the ability to communicate clearly regardless of audience.
• Familiarity with transfer pricing issues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
