If you love speed ----then you might heard of Porsche. there is an update for you ....Porsche management has scheduled a general meeting this year with preparations for a merger with Volkswagen. Yes thats in news.
Though there were few hurdles but seems both the parties are working on that.
They must have planned the preparation and made their decision.
Volkswagen wants to overtake Toyota which is the world's largest carmaker at present. VW has make this clear with their aggressive acquisitions, emerging market growth and streamlined production costs.
it is more like Volkaswagen Porsche merger . Prosche and volkswagen merger could be a good move by this two auto gaints.
With the over hand of Getting full control over Porsche business they might start up a new segment .
Still it seems this merger might need full permission from the shareholders of VW. Porsche has to clean up its balance sheet entirely and resolved issues over tax liabilities with the German authorities.
Porsche and VW have expressed a commitment to go through with the deal next year if there is a delay.
Volkswagen is also juggling several other deals, they are in full throttle to get into the market leader position..
