Guide/Lead multi-disciplinary teams to translate product requirements into detailed product specifications. Provide product design expertise to the design team from concept through development. Simultaneously manage the development of multiple product specifications. Promote and practice user-centered design principles and methodologies. Develop user workflows suitable for use in usability tests, customer evaluations, and reviews with senior management. Work with development as a product owner to ensure the successful implementation of product specifications. Assist in setting user experience goals for the applications and generating long-term usability plans, including participation in usability testing. Mentor colleagues in areas of expertise.
Educational Requirements Bachelor degree in related field plus 5-8+ years of experience. Familiarity with the SCRUM based agile development methodology. Must have some previous experience in the area of component supplier management. Have familiarity of various business practices in the areas of global product definition. Good knowledge of Windchill 9.0 / 9.1 is an absolute must including good grip on some of the key capabilities like search, part classification, change and configuration management.
