We are looking for Java and C++ professionals for PUNE location.
Primary Activities:
• Design, write & implement software programming applications
• Participate in maintenance and troubleshooting activities
• To follow disciplined software development practices.
• Develop new and extend existing functionality as specified by product definition (Capability Packages)
• Work on the data management application for the Creo suite of applications.
Qualifications:
• Graduate, Post Graduate in Computer Science / Engineering
• 5+ years of work experience in software development preferably in a company developing large software packages
• Good proficiency in the JAVA (basic and advanced e.g. JSP, Web services) and C++ language on Microsoft Windows platform.
• Familiarity with data structures and design patterns would be plus.
• Having knowledge in LISP will be plus point
• Should have worked on Microsoft Visual Studio and Netbeans / Eclipse
• Working knowledge of source management systems such as Perforce, Clearcase
• Good Aptitude and English communication skills
Additional Skills:
• Exposure to PDM will be plus
• Basic to intermediate know-how of Geometry / CAD
• User Interface Design / Usability know-how

The employee will be part of the PTC Services Academy. He/she will be responsible for the development and maintenance of education content for PTC products as well as for the development of preferred methods and intellectual property to aid in the delivery of standardized consulting services.
The employee would be expected to technically contribute as the subject-matter expert of PTC products and related domains for the successful delivery of work items.
Specific job responsibilities include:
• Develop and update education content for Global Services.
• Perform review of training content from a technical standpoint
• Develop and maintain Global Services and partner Intellectual Property ("IP") such as engineered components and job aids using the PTC’s Realized Value Platform (RVP) framework.
• Work with PTC Global Services providers to gather and industrialize input on preferred methods (best practices) for services delivery.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of PLM processes defined in the PDS Process Landscape.
• Define or contribute a point of view on the application of PTC product capabilities fundamental to PLM processes and practices
• Assist PTC Services Academy and Customer Education with the development of training material for Global Services products and other products where expertise can be provided.
